Program outlines

Day 1:
Orientation of Nepal Volunteers at the Kathmandu office. Orientation covers children issues (1 hour Guest lecture), field condition, host family or anticipated living conditions, safety issues, climate expectations, working projects, and related topics. Immediately after the orientation, our leaders will take you for a visit of the cultural city of Kathmandu. Our visits will cover most of the famous tourist, cultural, and religious places in Nepal.

Day 2:
Volunteers will leave for project early in the morning after breakfast. Introductions will be held with school/ respective organization, staff, and the host family.

Day 3- 6:
Work with children in school/ respective organizations. Share your love and efforts to orphans or community. Volunteers are free to explore the surrounding areas. Nepal offers many beautiful features that will allow you to truly enjoy the wonders of land. Volunteers, please feel free to explore the nature, culture, and life of Nepal in your free time. Our local staff and schoolteacher will support you for any assistance that you may need.

Day 7:
One-day village hiking program that allows you to explore the village life in Nepal, have a small picnic with kids/ with the staff of respective organization, enjoy the Nepali cultural program.

Day 8 - 13:
Work continues In school/ respective organizations. Please continue helping and supporting schoolchildren and making the most of your Nepal adventure.

Day14:
One-day village hiking program that allows you to explore the village life in Nepal, enjoy the Nepali cultural program.

Day 15 - 19:
Work continues In school/ respective organizations. Please continue helping and supporting school children/ respective community people and making the most of your Nepal adventure.
Himalayan Tour for volunteers
Day 20-28: Himalayan trekking on the Annapurna/ Everest/ trekking trail. Volunteers will pass and behold the beautiful Himalayas, landscaping, ethnic villages.

Day 29:
Return to school/ respective organizations, farewell with kids / community people, staff, host family, and certificate distribution.

Day 30 Departure:
For more months of working in schools or health post, volunteers will continuous work in their respect sector and take rest for 14 days to one month for travelling throughout the country.

For Research orientation work they will get information about the related project topics in context on Nepal and start to work under our guidences.
