Mera Peak Climbing (Autum 2008) Fixed Departure April 03, 2008 & March 05, 2008
Mera Peak is one of the most technically Simple types of peak in Nepal. It lies between Hinku and Hongu Valleys which is in east of lukla and south of Everest. Its popularity is due to both altitude and technical simplicity. The quickest ways is the Zatrawa La, And other ways from south Via Hindu Drangka and Pangkongma. The normal route of ascent is via mera La north of mountain with Amphu Lapcha. The view from the summit is believed to be one of the most outstanding in the entire Nepal Himalaya. These programs allow sufficient time for any reasonably physically fit person to make a comfortable ascent of this most spectacular of the Nepalese trekking peaks. To make this trek more challenging we have chosen the longer route over high and strenuous Amphu Labtsa pass at 5787 meter.
